Having worked as an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Rose revolutionized the footwear industry by introducing a luxury line that successfully blends form, fashion and function. In her daily orthopedic practice Dr. Rose witnessed countless patients with a variety of serious foot ailments caused by sky-high heels and painful pointed-toe pumps. Dr. Rose sought a reasonable solution after experiencing her own foot pain caused by endless 14-hour days in the highest of heels.
She was on a mission to create fashionable shoes that were easy on the feet as well as the eyes. All current designs include a new gel insole that imitates the padding of women’s feet and feature extra cushioning. These include ballerina flats, mid heels, booties, boots and platforms. Every Haute Footure shoe showcases a signature lip design stitched to the arch and a signature pink outer sole.
