- When you're ready to ride the big mountains be sure to lace up in the Vans® Andreas Wiig 2012 snowboard boots. Inspired by his Norwegian roots, this pro snowboarder designed these boots to endure the intense cold and withstand hardcore performance rides.
- Shell construction utilizes synthetic materials with a lace up closure.
- Instep Flex Zone provides a more forgiving medial flex, preventing shell distortion and ensures natural articulation while maintaining lateral support.
- Flex Control System has removable tongue stiffeners that allow riders to custom fit their boot flex. For maximum support keep both stiffeners in or just use one to provide either increased lateral or medial response. Remove them entirely for a softer flexing boot, and then add the tongue stiffeners as the season moves on and your boots soften, giving them new life.
- Top of boot features a pleasure cuff that accommodates all calf ranges for a comfortable fit.
- Dual side pulls for easy entry and exiting of the boot.

- Stainless steel, double-posted, laser-etched hex hooks are strong, durable and equipped with a rubber gripper mounted on the inside, so when you tighten up your boots the laces stay in place.
- The mountain can be unpredictable, and the technology of the Recco Avalanche Rescue System gives you peace of mind with its rapid directional pinpointing of a person's exact location using harmonic radar. The two-part system consists of a RECCO detector used by organized rescue groups, and RECCO reflectors that are integrated into select boots in the Vans line. The reflector is permanently affixed, requires no training for use, and needs no batteries to function.
- The Internal Web Harness is attached to the inside shell of the boot, providing liner closure for a better fit. It also prevents liner movement inside the shell to ensure secure heel hold while the OTW Lace Lock maintains the desired tension.
