For splinters:
Always clean afflicted area with soap and water, and sterilize tweezer tips before use. Grip the splinter with the tweezer's precision tips and back it out gently. Disinfect area with hydrogen peroxide after splinter is removed.
To remove ingrown hairs:
Use a single tweezer-point to gently work the hair out from under the skin. Once the ingrown comes out, grab it firmly at the root with the tips and gently pull in the direction of hair growth.
