The North Face Bridgeton Lace

Nice stylish boot. Laces help adjust fit. A little stiff at first. I bought them for myself but ended up giving them to my 14 year old daughter. They are not warm love me true snow boots. We went upstate to a winter resort and her feet were freezing. Mine were fine in my Sorel's, however. Too narrow to fit thick wool socks. More for winter fashion not suitable to spend the day outdoors.

I absolutely love how these look, and the plum gray suede matches with everything, in my opinion. The boot is very warm and has good traction for icy sidewalks. The downside was that it had no arch support, which is not something I usually think about. But my knees were hurting after walking in these for just a mile. I managed to fix this by buying an awesome pair of Ugg sheep's wool insoles and replacing the existing ones. Now the boots are super comfy and I wear them everywhere. However, without replacement insoles these were not workable.

Very cute - should fit a variety of calves, as you can "set" the size with laces and just use the zip. Lovely color. Had to slog through the slushy snow today and stayed completely dry. I am usually a solid size 8 but had to return these for an 8.5 which let me slip in a thicker winter sock.

This is an update from an earlier review - these are definitely my default black winter boots. They "read" as normal boots, but they are very warm, very comfortable, and super cute. I have a narrow calf, and they fit nice and close to my calf. I hover between a 9 and 9 1/2, but got these in a size 10 and they are perfect. Really great boot! Very happy customer.
