I am an 18 year old girl who bought these shoes because of the influence of Mr. Toby "Tobuscus" Joe Turne. Before buying, I had searched through the women's Heelys and found an alarming lack of choice and style. This style more closely resembles Vans shoes because of its clunky appearance. I suggest trying on Heelys in a store before ordering offline. I wear a 5½ snugly and these shoes in men's size 4 fits me perfectly. The extra space in the sole (for the wheel) adds about an inch to the user's height with just the plugs, and 1½" with the wheels in. I have worn these shoes with plugs to school. They have more support and comfort than my Vans, although there is an unusually small space for the heel of my foot inside the shoe. That being said, these shoes are not to be run in. Because the soles are used as breaks, they do not bend easily. The wheels are durable, but one small pebble will send you sprawling. Overall, I have been very pleased with my purchase of these shoes and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new shoe, skate, and skill, all in one.

My 12 year old son loves these. The fit is a little big, but that's okay as he won't outgrow them quickly.

A bunch of guys where I work purchased these shoes (dare I even call them that) and seem to have started a gang. At first, it seemed cute and harmless, but now these thugs seem to be taking over. Everything about them from their height, charm, confidence, engineering ability and everything in between has increased an order of magnitude since they've stopped walking and travel exclusively on the wheel in the heel. Most workers have become apprehensive about using the parking garage now and have resorted to finding street parking just to avoid intruding on the gang's turf. They also seem to be developing street cred at an alarming rate. I don't know whether it is the Heelys, denim vests, or 1950's dance moves that are the main contributor but you cannot deny that their approach is effective. Based on what I have seen firsthand, I would recommend Heelys to anyone looking to become more popular, more intimidating, or otherwise seeking success in a professional environment and a rapid climb up the corporate ladder.
