I really love the coat. It keeps me warm. I got both black color and bark color. Black color wins! It is much prettier than the other one. I got both M size but I do not know why the bark one ran smaller. I returned it but I am happy to keep the black coat.

This coat is great if you're looking for a basic parka. It's nothing fancy, but it is classic and warm without being too puffy. I'm really glad I got it.

This is a cute and warm coat. I wore it to NY and Pittsburgh on a recent trip. I am from the south but stayed relatively warm in 19-35 degree weather, wore it sledding and stayed dry. The fabric is kind of heavy and stiff but will probably break in eventually. That probably also helps keep the wind out however. Only complaint is that the hood is too big. I used another review for sizing, I am 5'4" and 120lbs...got the small and fit great, could wear a thin sweater under with no issue. Thanks!

This is a cute cute coat and seems well made. I'd keep it if it ran a little larger. I am 5'3 and weigh 100 lbs. The XS was too tight on the top (where I am very small) and I had little room to move my arms around. I generally wear winter coats with a jacket or a few layers underneath. That would make it completely unacceptable.

I wish I had bought this coat earlier! I'm in Ohio and this coat is keeping me the warmest I've ever been through these tough snowy winters. I love the Thinsulated aspect of it, and the color is really attractive. I've gotten many compliments about it and I am really looking forward to having this coat for a long, long time.

I bought this coat at the end of the winter season so I haven't gotten a chance to wear it much. But I like the style. The zipper doesn't start at the bottom of the coat so it is a nice fit around my hips. I live in Boston so I am hoping this coat is warm. :)

I ordered this coat on the recommendation of some friends who were really happy with their Spiewak coats. I really love the style, and it is super warm and toasty. After wearing it for a while now, my primary complaint is the collar. The zipper stops short of the collar tab, which has a separate snap. The snap is really tough, and the wind goes right through the gap. I really wish the zipper just went all the way up. I ride a bike through the winter, and the collar also chokes me a bit as I lean forward on my handlebars, especially with a scarf, which I find I need. I also had to take in the hood, because even on a size small and with a hat underneath, it was so large that the wind was knocking it back and it wouldn't stay on my head. But from the collar down, it's a great coat. I don't think it's officially waterproof, but it's kept me dry in freezing rain, and the rain and snow seem to roll or brush right off.
