I purchased these boots in brown yesterday. They arrived today and I am very pleased with them! Despite the other reviews, the synthetic material does not look bad at all. The material has a matte finish, so it doesn't have that pleathery-sheen as most synthetic boots have. The calf area is very roomy, so these boots will easily fit over skinny jeans or leggings. The heel is a comfortable height as well. My only complaint on these is the foot area is a bit narrow. But I think that wearing them around the house for a day will be enough to stretch them to a comfortable width. Overall, these were a great purchase, very cute boots!

Description does say "Leather Upper" and the boot has a "Man Made Upper." This was disappointing, as I usually only buy leather. I ended up keeping them though, because I love the "riding boot" look of them with the slight heel to make them dressier. I've only worn them twice, but have received several compliments on them. I love all my Nine West boots, but am disappointed by the inaccurate description.
