These boots do NOT fit 16.5" calves as described. My calves are 16.5" and I could not get these zipped within 5" of the top (and I tried because I really want these boots! I have looked everywhere for some that will fit my calves). I measured again after trying on and discovered that the zipper stopped at the 16" point on my leg -- so really they fit only up to 15.5" calves. These boots were also way too bulgy at the ankle. I also bought the The Born Valentina which was slim and pretty at the ankle and had a nice toe shape (those were described as fitting 17" calves but also couldn't get zipped past the 16" mark on mine). The foot part of this boot fit my small 7.5 -- wideish -- feet just fine. They didn't have as comfortable padding on the bottom as the Borns.

I measured my calf and foot prior to buying these shoes so I can attest that it was a perfect fit and the size is exactly what the entry specifies. So far, these boots have made it 50% of the way through a mild midwestern winter including salted side walks and I think they'll last at least another winter if not 3 total. (I also take care to wipe the salt off after slushy days.) I love them, they're cute yet sensible and I can walk miles in them (and I have).

Love these boots! I normally wear heeled boots and have never owned riding boots. I feared these would look frumpy or sloppy but they are the opposite! They look great with skinny jeans and are very comfortable. They fit very true to size yet you can wear them with thin socks (versus trouser socks or tights) on cold days. These will be a wardrobe staple this winter!

These are beautiful boots. The color is a rich reddish brown and looks luxurious. The heel is not too high so I can wear it all day long without it hurting my feet! Fit is true to size. I have slightly larger calves and these fit perfectly. Enough room to tuck my jeans in but snug enough to wear with tights!

Dressier alternative to sneakers to wear with skirts or dresses for work. They seem pretty comfortable. I am usually a 9 and sometimes a 9W but the 8.5M fit my foot perfectly. Must be sized a little big, just FYI.

Stylish and very comfortable school shoes. This was purchased for my niece and she loved it. Great for kids around 12/13.

I received them and thought I would send them back because I felt them looked like a pair of nurse's shoes. But I wore them, and I like them! They are very comfortable. Good job Skechers!

I bought these for an upcoming trip to Paris. I think they'll be a good alternative to clunky sneakers to wear with capris and skirts. Very comfortable! I have very high arches and the support is fine. I won't wear them with socks so I wish I had gotten a 9.5 or 9 instead of a 10.

Very comfortable. I have wide feet, and these work beautifully. They're not the most attractive shoes, but comfort-wise, they're good. I wore them around Europe and didn't get any blisters. Not much arch support if you need that, but the insole is removable and can be replaced with something more supportive. I'm on my second pair of these shoes.
