I really thought I would love these boots, but when they came I was surprised at how they looked. I am a review reader, so I had studied the reviews and ended up giving a lot of thought to the size, but not the detail of the distressing in the picture. The leather was thinner than I expected, and I didn't like this particular distressed look at all. The picture represents it, but I was expecting a more subtle distressed look. In my opinion, the look was odd - and I like distressed leather usually - it reminded me of something that had been left in water and then dried. I would rate the fit and the overall as good because I would have kept them if I had liked the way they looked. It is just a matter of preference, but to me the distressed look of these was unnatural and didn't look at all like I expected. The soles were distressed as well, and I wondered if I had gotten a damaged pair. When I called customer service to let them know I was returning them and wanted to be sure they knew the soles were scuffed looking, they looked at the picture and said that was the way they were supposed to be (I didn't look at the picture of the sole when I ordered them, so my mistake). Zappos customer service is great and I will continue to order from them...they make it so easy and they ship fast! Just be sure you study the picture and realize that these look very distressed, but it seems more dyed on or bleached than worn looking. The streaks look just like the picture so use the zoom so you can see what I mean. If I had wanted a boot to wear for a working boot or daily they were comfortable and perhaps would look better to me when broken in.

As an older woman, I really appreciate how this product feels moisturizing and does give a lovely glow without feeling heavy or looking too shiny. The coverage is perfect. I did have to exchange the color for one shade darker than my original choice; however, customer service was excellent in assisting me make the exchange and were very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this product.

I love this. It goes on so smooth. The brush that comes with it is nice but I use the foundation brush of Paula Dorfs. Get the full size brush if you can, it's wonderful. You determine the coverage with this. Worth every penny. Zappos is absolutely great and the service is awesome. Free shipping and if not satisfied, return shipping is free also. What more could you want.

Lovely makeup for 50+ Doesn't show wrinkles, glides beautifully, stays fresh all day. Would not trade it for any makeup, regardless of price. I suggest the bronzer to brighten and highlight your face for additional color (and compliments)!

Gives a luminous glow, does not settle into fine lines, does not accentuate pores. Easy to apply as lightly as I like. I use a full-size foundation brush, so can’t speak to the portable brush included. I love Paula Dorf concealer, too. Wish PD products were more affordable.
