These felt narrow and would not fit over my calves despite saying they are wide enough. I have wide calves (17 1/4") but could not pull these all the way up. They also look cheap in person and do not smell like real leather. I love the way they look in the picture but unfortunately they will definitely be going back.

Looks good but smells like gasoline. Fits my wide calf and the strap at the top are adjustable. It was not easy to put on. I wear orthotics and they fit ok but made the boot feel a bit tighter, may not be comfortable after a while.

I liked the style of these and really wanted them to work, but alas, they didn't fit. I have a 16.5" calf, and these
shoes said 18", however they wouldn't fit even half-way up my leg. The foot portion was also very narrow.

The boot looks nice online but I was really disappointed when they arrived. The are NOT real leather and smelled like plastic. When I put them on they felt a whole size bigger. I wear a size 4 1/2-5, so they were huge on me. The extra wide calf fit fine however, the smaller the size the narrower the calf circumference is. I had to sent them back since they're not leather (for that price I thought they would be). But thank you zappos for the super fast delivery, don't worry I will order soon again.

The descriptions clearly state that they are synthetic, for those of you who were disappointed. Try the Laila. It is leather . . . it fits large calves . . . and they are very comfortable.

When I saw these on line I fell in love with them. There weren't any reviews of them at the time, unfortunately. When I opened the box I got blasted with the most horrible chemical smell imaginable. I tried them on and they fit fine over my calf, which is always a problem for me, but they definitely run small in the shoe part. Not so much as to be uncomfortable to me, just not great at the outset. My biggest issue with these boots is my own doing...I put them in another room because it's just not boot wearing weather yet here and disposed of the box. Remember that horrid smell...well, it hasn't gone away. These boots stink! No, they aren't leather...but I think even the plastic or what ever they are made of is fake. Can they make fake plastic? I think I'm stuck with a very expensive set of boots I can't wear. Avoid at all costs!
