Perfect fit! My 8 1/2 fit true, and fit my calves perfectly, which is difficult since one calf is 14" and the other is 15".

So soft, pretty and felt like they would be really comfortable. the dark brown is pretty much a pale black. So be careful on the color. I returned the item due to the color.

I absolutely love these! I fell in love with these boots and when I went to order them they were out of my size, but because I loved them so much I decided to order them half a size up. I can wear thick socks under them which is not all bad in New England. Two things that are sort of unfortunate is the brown is sort of a light black, and as I already knew they are not waterproof. Also the calf is very wide, loose, and I have wide calves.
