These boots are awesome. They are cute with jeans (in a Chuckkha boot kind of way). The best thing is that they keep my feet warm outside in the winter (at least when walking short distances, like to my car), but do not make my feet too hot when I am inside, so I can wear them all day long. Plus, the sole itself has a lot of bounce/give, which absorbs a lot of impact. I absolutely love them!

Overall, I think these will be great. Keep in mind that they're bulkier than most "Chukkas" as you guess from the pictures. Very stylish though, they'll be great with jeans/chinos for fall and winter use. They do feel a little long and wide both, but maybe this is to allow thicker/warmer socks that I'll definitely use for Minnesota winters. Extremely comfortable right away, looking forward to a lot of use!

Clunky but spunky. Not as heavy feel as they look, and surprisingly EZ on and off, plus decent walking comfort. Doesn't feel like they have much arch support above average, so if you need more support, pass. Style seems more suitable for a 1960s ski lodge, but who's looking in rain or slush?
