I love my
Franco Sarto Clint boots! I just took them out of the box and they fit and look perfect! I wear an 8 1/2 and sometimes boots come a bit larger if I order my regular shoe size, but these boots fit like a glove from toe to calf! If you need more wiggle room for thick socks, or have a bigger than "normal" calf, I would definitely look into a half size bigger and the wide-shaft option. I am 5'8/135 lbs and athletic; if my calf were slightly bigger, I could not have been able to zip them up over my calves with skinny jeans on. I spent weeks trying to find the perfect boot and these are them! I absolutely couldn't be happier. I was torn between these and a pair of
Steve Madden boots that were similar, but due to the negative reviews regarding lack of support and thin, cheap-looking leather, I went with
Franco Sarto. So happy I did! And thank you to Zappos for getting them to me over night! As well as the reviews that were written prior to mine, they really helped.

These are great boots. They are comfortable and the quality is excellent. I ordered the brown and the color is even richer in person. Do order a half size up (I am a 7 and ordered a 7.5 and they fit perfectly). Also note that the calves may be a bit tight at first but they do stretch a little after some wear; I was very pleased with this because they still have a very nice shape, don't slouch, and make my calves look true to size instead of bulky. I'd definitely purchase these.

Ordered my regular size (8) - couldn't zip the boot up the whole way. Called customer service to exchange, and I got the new size the next day! Ordered them in the wide shaft a half size larger, and they're nearly perfect. Wide shaft is just the smallest bit too big around for me, but I'll deal. Other than that, have no complaints - love the color, the classic style, and they're comfortable! Zappos customer service is a pleasure to work with!

I love these boots! Quality of leather and look are great! I can wear them all day and be comfortable. I agree that the calf part is small. I am 5'2, 124lbs and that just fits without extra room!

Excellent alternative to high heeled dress boots for the price. I wanted a pair to be comfortable at work all day and walking 1/2 mile to and from work, and I don't wear anything with much of a heel. I didn't have a huge budget, but the other riding boots in this price range all looked like black galoshes (I think due to a very wide ankle). These boots are pretty fitted at the ankle so look much dressier. I did measure my calf circumference while standing, and it was 14.5 inches. The 15 inch calf fits snugly but not too tight. I wear it with tights and skirts or dresses, but if I wore skinny jeans I think they would fit. I usually wear 8 or 8.5, and these fit well in 8.5. I usually wear a warmer pair of socks over my tights for my hike to work. They sometimes pinch a tiny bit in the right toe but overall are really amazingly comfortable.

I bought these boots for my girlfriend for Christmas. She absolutely loves them! They are true to her size, fit perfect around her leg and so far she say that they are comfortable. I gave them to her as an early Christmas present at the beginning of December. Sometimes I think she loves them more than me!

I love these boots! The color is great, not a dark brown, though the toe has darkened a bit as I have worn them. The zipper pull feels a bit short. The first time I wore these boots I noticed the zipper rubbed against my ankle. It was less noticeable after a few wearings, and now it does not rub at all. I get lots of compliments on these boots!

These boots are great. I did have to exchange for a half size larger but I absolutely love them. When in doubt, please order a half size larger to save time although the customer service at zappos.com was excellent and I got the replacement boots practically the next day.
