Let me start with, I love Zappos and their great service. I wear Size 7. I love the style and although they fit great these shoes are not for people with wide shins/ calf. I have well built shin, if not broad and I am able to wear the boots with skinny jean or tights. Anything else is out of question. They are super comfortable. I have stood in them for 3-4 hours continuous with no problems.

Excellent boot. Very sturdy and comfortable. I'm 5'8" and it hits just under my knee. It's also fairly narrow. I have small calves and get wear these with skinny jeans with no room left over. If you have larger calves, these are not for you.

I love these boots! I have slightly thicker calves and can just zip these up with skinny jeans. I am a 7-7.5, sometimes 8, and the 7.5 fits perfectly. I can even stuff my yoga pants into them when I'm running to the gym from work. I'm on my feet 80% of the day at work and find that these are both super cute and super comfy. I also love that they don't make loud clicking noises on the floors while I walk around. I don't want to announce to the whole floor that I'm coming - that's one of my peeves with shoes. With these I've received loads of compliments and would highly recommend them, especially with this discounted price. I'm about to buy them in black too!

I bought these for my daughter who is in college. She wears them quite a lot walking around and up and down the very hilly campus with no complaints. She says she gets a lot of compliments on them and they do look really cute with the various outfits she puts together. She is 5'4", weighs 130, but has very muscular calves and these boots fit over a pair of skinny jeans. (It is difficult to find her boots that fit over her calves.) She loves them!

These are great. They are quite comfortable. They are wide enough for me to wear jeans (I have athletic calves). The color is a little lighter than the picture- kind of more of a taupe or stone than light brown.

These are great everyday boots. They fit well over skinny jeans and look great with my winter dresses. I walk a lot at work and these stay comfortable all day.

It's a lovely boot and I took a chance but it doesn't fit my calves. This is the first time I've had that problem so I'm just going to go with wide calves from now on if I buy online. So disappointing because it is a great looking boot. Will not fit wide calves at all. Going to return and find something else.

I am unable to zip these closed with long underwear and jeans even tho the description says wide shaft. They are going back.

These did not work out for me. The shaft is wide enough for my calf, but the foot bed seems tight for a C width. I had to send these back. They look really nice though, so I wish they had worked.

I live in NYC and usually wear an 8.5 wide. I've tried and returned 3 or 4 pairs before I found these. I got a 9 W (to allow for thick socks and maybe tucked in pants). Couldn't be more perfect. They are comfortable (even after hours of walking around the city), cute, and most importantly they fit my calves. I've yet to tuck pants but I'm confident I could if I loosened the strings before I zipped them up. Love Zappos and love these snow boots!

These boots are lined and keep my legs warm in cold, windy weather. They are a nice alternative to shearling lined boots. I usually wear a Naturalizer size 6.5, but the 7 fit me better.

This boot was overall a good boot to have now for me when I have wore it on a cold day it kept my feet warm but the true test will come when its winter time I didn't mind that it was a half a size to big because I live in Alaska so it gave me room to add extra socks, just wish it helped the kids also.
