I loved the shoes, the style, the fit and color were all perfect. When I wore them, the stitching where the sides of the shoes end stuck right into the sides of my feet. It feels like little nails stick in the sides of my feet. No way can I wear them with that much pain. I have to return them.

These shoes felt fine in the house for several hours so I wore them for a weekend trip which involved some walking. My feet were miserable -- the end of the stitching hits the foot in a way that it feels like you have a pebble in your shoe (but you can't get it out!) I am usually okay in many different shoes -- these were the first time I was unhappy with shoes being uncomfortable in a very long time.

I'm crushed! I wear a 6W or 6.5 B and I ordered a 7B. They are darling but fit like a 6 narrow. So, if you don't have a wide foot and don't have a high instep, it might be okay. My problem is it's only full sizes and if I get an 8 it will be way too long. So sorry they didn't work. I do have a number of slides from this vendor that run true to size. This is just an unusual one. Sorry, Zappos!

Shoes are way narrow and smaller than I would have imagined. Cute enough, though, and would have fit my needs perfectly. I have a large foot (size 10), but these shoes in just opening the box looked like a size 7, no larger than an 8. Disappointed, but never dealt with this brand and so now I know they have a smaller last.

Runs 1/2 size smaller than other Athena Alexander sandals. I am a true size 6 1/2, and my other Athena Alexander sandals are size 6. I ordered a 6 and a 7 in this pair to try both. 6 was too tight and too short. The 7 fit perfect (not too large anywhere), but the strap across foot was stiff and cut in a bit. Since it is not made of leather, I didn't think they would stretch and become more comfortable, so I must return them both.

I so wanted to love these shoes. They were the perfect shape and height. But like many of the other reviewers said they are very narrow. They are going back. What a shame.
