I ordered this boot when I was unable to locate a size 9 in the Lucchese Spirit Stella Boot. I wanted somewhat of a heel this time. Very disappointed in this boot. Very stiff color, not as pretty as I hoped (I have an old Dan Post Black Cherry which is beautiful). Not sure if it was this particular Tony Lama or the fact that I am so used to Lucchese Boots, but I will not be ordering Tony Lama again. Still on the hunt for that Stella Boot, though. As usual, Zappos delivers with promptness and excellence.

These boots are perfect. I was looking for super simple, quality riding boots with a feminine shape for a long time and I am so pleased to have finally found these. I have average/narrow calves (12.5in) and it was also very important to me that the shaft fit perfectly around my calf with no gaping. I also have freakishly short legs and the shaft of these hits right at the bottom/middle of my knee. Absolutely perfect fit on both fronts. I get lots of compliments on these.

These boots are so comfortable, soft and are great for all day wear. They look great with skirts and are stretchy enough to go over jeans. Excellent if you have a wider calf.
