These run small. I am a 28 and occasionally a 27 in designer denim pants (7, AG, Paige, Hudson, J Brand, Citizens, etc.). I ordered these in 28, and, while the leg fit, I didn't have a prayer of buttoning the top. There must have been a gap of 1.5 to 2 inches between the button and the button hole.
