The sizing seems to be inconsistent. I already have two pair of these shorts and love them so decided to add a third pair. I ordered the same size but these did not fit.

Love these lightweight shorts. They fit true to size...great for outdoors. I work as a hike guide and wear them all the time. Very comfortable and fast drying.

These shorts are terrific. Comfortable, attractive, and practical. The sizing, however, varies by color; the dark brown color runs a bit smaller.

Great fit. Look nice and also comfortable. Same company makes a cute skirt. I had the length shortened a few inches. Waiting for Zappos to get the other color in my size.

Nice shorts, but they made my booty look flat and the waist band pooches out in the back. Not really designed for round booties.

Kuhl Moda shorts run incredibly small. I wear a size 2-4. I ordered a size 4, and they fit like a size 1.

Sizing very small. I am 6 ft tall and usually wear a 10 or 12 in a dress and a 12 in pants and jeans... however, both the 12 and the 14 in these shorts were too small for me. Definitely order up one size from your usual pant size.

I ordered the red ones, and they ran small. I am
almost always a 12, and 14s were a tad tight. Even though they were tight, there was an enormous gap at the back of the waste. Fabric and style looked beautiful. Red is like red wine/fuchsia-ish color and not a brick red.
