I wear only Orthaheels and this is the worst shoe they make. They squeak like crazy and yesterday they peeled the skin off both my feet at the anklebone because they're too high. Arcadia's are much more comfortable on my feet. If you're looking for arch support, their sandals have a higher arch than their
shoes. I also own their mules but practically never wear them because I find it hard to
keep them on my feet. They seem to slope down in the back?! I live in the Northeast, so mules and sandals...not the best choice for 20 deg. weather. My biggest complaint about Orthaheel is that their
shoes have way less arch support than their sandals and none of them are really dressy. You're selling to women, Orthaheel. I'm not looking for stilettos, but something that doesn't look like they could be worn in a marathon would be appreciated. I'm sending these back.

Shoe is wonderful for work where I stand a lot during day. I am having much less leg pain since wearing them. Shoe allows the feeling of 'sure footing'. I can walk with more confidence (I found I took a 1/2 size less and had no problem in exchange.)

I have terrible plantar facitis and this shoe has helped me a lot. Nothing beats my Orthoheel flip flops (Tide and Wave) but these come close. I can manage a whole day at work without being in terrible pain. My only complaint would be that they seem to be a bit cheaply made. My
shoes are only a couple months old and the back heel part is rubbing off to leave a cardboard underneath. Not sure how long they will last, but I would still buy them again for the comfort!

Very comfortable shoe for casual walking and daily activities. I bought them because I developed Plantar Fasciitis and now these and the other styles from this brand are all I wear. My only complaint is that they make my feet sweat because they are made from all man made materials and don't breathe at all.

Super cute shoe! As others stated, no, you cannot tighten the cross straps. Yes, they were a bit loose but luckily it didn't affect how they fit on my feet. I am returning them unfortunately because I planned to wear these without socks. Because they aren't made of leather, they made my feet a bit sweaty. Not enjoyable. Plus, for that price point, I'm sure there are other options made of leather that would be more comfortable for me.

I was surprised that the arch support wasn't better in this shoe. It is still comfortable and I do enjoy wearing them since it helps so much with my heel pain. If the arch was higher, I would've bought a 2nd pair!

These are a great Orthaheel option because they do look like "normal"
shoes. They have the Orthaheel support, but look cute with skirts. For the price, though, I'm a little disappointed with the quality. They WILL give you huge blisters if you wear them without tights or socks before they are broken in properly, and they did squeak for me a little. I put a little vaseline between the insole and the shoe and it's fine now. My main concern is that they scuff really easily. I bumped my toe on a curb the other day and the material is white under a thin black layer. I put black shoe polish on it, but it's still really noticeable!

Although these
shoes are very comfy (which is a really difficult thing for me to find) and the overall idea of the style is cool. However, in person they look really cheap. The brown colors are yucky - they are more of a greenish/pukey brown, not a neutral brown that would work well with other colors. I don't mind accentuated stitching, but it just looked cheap. I would have entertained trying out a black pair if it had been available. I found another pair of Orthaheels that are much better looking and I love them. They work well with custom orthotics too, but a person might not even need them.

These were very large for being labeled a size 10. My feet were swimming in them the straps were loose. Sadly I ordered them directly from the company, with less efficient of a return policy. I may try again ordering from Zappos, now that I have some reviews to guide the way.

This was my 1st attempt at Orthaheel
shoes, and ordering a 1/2 size. It felt a little larger than a half size too big, so order down if you get these. The support of course was wonderful, but it was just too much shoe. A little clunky, and odd. The straps were very loose also, not sure if ordering down would make it tight enough. I desperately need a good go-to shoe and since I just about only wear Orthaheel in the summer, I was excited to see these. But will wait for them to develop another style before I order. Thanks Zappos for the super quick delivery, I just wish I could have kept them.
