This is a fantastic boot/bootie. I have a collection of Stuart Weitzman shoes and these do not disappoint. Weitzman shoes are timeless, sexy, very comfortable, and construction is superior. First, they are a comfortable flat but the lines are feminine (not clunky). The shoe construction is exceptional with nice details like the metal at heel and the material is soft and supple. The color is a taupe gray that goes with everything. The boot can convert to a bootie style with the fold down showing the a playful animal print. A great pair of boots.

What a great boot! The versatility of being able to fold down the cuff and show the leopard-print lining for casual outfits vs. wearing it zipped up for a dressier look makes this style a good value despite its higher price. The only surprise was the color. In the picture, "Mist Velour" looks gray, but in reality, it is a soft grayish light brown. Although not what I originally expected, the color is a good neutral. If anyone is familiar with Eileen Fisher clothes and her color palette, Weitzman's "Mist Velour" matches Eileen's "Rye."

This is a beautiful boot that is very well made, however there is heel slippage which makes this boot unwearable for me. Even at the sale price, if the boot does not fit me like a glove, it has to go back.
