I love this boot! Classy, elegant, narrow shaft boot with high quality workmanship. Great leather with a wonderful insole and a non-slippery outer sole. The heel gives a little extra height and the platform keeps it comfortable. This is boot that will last for years and keep you reaching for it time after time.

Love this boot! It's extremely comfortable on the foot, and the shaft width on my pair is 14.5", as advertised. It looks well with skirts and zips up comfortably over my average-size calves even with jeans. (I also tried La Canadienne Darbie, which supposedly has a 16" side shaft, but my pair had a 13.5" shaft and was much too tight over jeans. I sent it back). The boot is very pretty (I got the black suede), and the heal is just the right height and shape. I am not planning on wearing these "waterproof" boots in puddles, though. Unlike waterproof boots by Ecco and ara, the zipper on this boot does not have a protective waterproof shield, and I know from experience that the water will come right in.

I am looking for an all weather boot for business travel outside Los Angeles. Finding a boot that meets this need is not easy. These boots may have worked but on my small frame were swimming on me in the calf (I'm 13"). So, if you are built a bit larger, this might work well for you to wear with pants tucked in. The leather was attractive enough, which is saying something given the all weather boots I've tried. The search continues!
