Loved the look of this boot - was nervous about the reviews stating it had a narrow shaft because I have muscular calves, but took a chance since I didn't see any specific measurements. Unfortunately, they were too small to zip completely. To help others out before you order - my calf measures 14 &1/2 inches, and they were about 1 &1/2 inches away from being able to zip at the largest point. So if your calf is 13 inches or smaller, go for it, because they were very comfortable (halfway zipped)!

These are gorgeous boots and have a great quality leather, soft comfortable
sole, etc. I have bad bunions and consequently crooked toes so the toe box is too narrow to handle my deformities without squishing my toes. If you have normal feet, I would definitely take advantage of this sale as I am so sad to send them back. I am not a slight person (5.6 and 140 lbs) and have fairly average calves, and I had no problem with the calf width. The leather is very soft and giving. I am jealous of whoever gets to wear this cute boot.

Oh dear, so disappointed. Boots are beautiful, gorgeous leather, good quality, but the calf is incredibly narrow, and so tight it cut off my circulation. I
guess I could have paid to get them stretched but having spent this much already I'm not about to do that so I am returning them with a sad face. I don't have fat calves at all.

Nice looking boot and comfortable. I normally wear a 1/2 size larger in a boot than a shoe, but I didn't go up the 1/2 size this time and they fit well.

I have been looking for a knee-high boot with a heel that I could wear all day for work as well as a good walking boot for travel. I love these boots! Nice quality, stylish design and very comfortable...I have gotten so many compliments! I am thin and petite so I do not have a problem with the width of the boot shaft. I bought a half size larger so I could wear socks for warmth and they fit perfectly.

Beautiful, comfortable boot, with just the right heel height. I exchanged my regular size for a half-size up, as my regular size felt really tight across the tops of my feet. I didn't think they'd stretch adequately or permit any thicker socks.

I tried on three pairs of
Rockport boots and these were my favorite. I love the rich brown color...not too dark and not too orange, just a lovely latte brown color that goes well with everything. The leather is soft and they are a comfortable all-day boot. I put these on at 8am out of the box and didn't take them off until after 10pm. They were comfortable the whole time, and I'm on my feet for most of it. The ball of my foot is wide and my heel very narrow with slightly wide calves. The width was perfect, my heel didn't slip inside the boot, and even though It took a shoe horn and a minor squeeze to get the zipper up, I know the leather will give over time and the calf will ease up over time. They're not overly or uncomfortably tight. I wear a 6.5 and these 6.5 fit wonderfully. I usually buy
Clarks. These are my first
Rockport and I Highly recommend them.

This pair of boots are beautiful. From the classy packaging and fast shipping from Zappos. I found the boots to be very stylish with a comfortable heel height. Just a great all around pair of black boots. I ordered a 71/2 I usually wear a 7, but read the reviews of narrow calf and shoe part so decided to bump up a half size, glad I did as for me they are a little narrow, I am keeping the boots spite this hoping they will stretch out a bit, or I could have them stretched a bit either way I am totally happy with the boots.

Gorgeous, comfortable (especially when I wear my inserts) and I receive lots of compliments. However, the circumference of the shaft is wider than expected. I debated about keeping them but they are so cute that I did.
