I tend to put my daughter in brands comparable to my own because she is picky like myself. Having been a victim of heel/foot issues in the past, our local running company had reviewed my gait and recommended Saucony's. I found them to be more supportive than most athletic
shoes. Having already returned Keen's and Merrell's, I felt we'd see if my 4 year old would like hers as much as I do - she does. They run true to size. Also, they've seemed to hold up very well for our active and wet (read snowy) lifestyle. This has been a complaint of mine in the past for Puma's for little
kids, they're much too thin and fall apart. You can't tell these are 3 months old. Perhaps most importantly she loves them because there is no missing the cute pink-white; also easy to independently put on with velcro straps. My picky preschooler and I would both highly recommend these.
