I buy a pair of Tevas every year and pretty much completely wear out each pair by the
end of flip-flop season. This year, as others have mentioned,
Teva has changed the sizing and materials on the Mush. The
sole material is less bed-of-feathers smushy, though I have not noticed any difference in comfort and how quickly the
sole forms to the feet, and it is fully one size smaller than last year's, last year's size 6 is exactly the same size as this year's 7. Also, you may no longer be able to throw them on and walk all day in them without breaking them in as
Teva has put the rubber Mush logo right under your heel, and it unfortunately compresses slower than the surrounding
sole material, which may result in a dull painful jabbing feeling if you are on the move a lot in the first few hours of wearing these. Luckily, the logo compresses after a bit more walking and it feels just as good as any other Tevas that I have owned. Overall, I am happy I bought them and am relieved
Teva did not ruin the Mush like some reviews have claimed.
