This "sweat dress" is fantastic! It is cute and super comfy. I feel as though it will be my winter go to relaxation outfit. It's also cute enough to wear out with leggings and boots!

Love these boots! Decoding the measurements - the circumference of all boots (not just at Zappos) is measured at the top of the boot, not at the calf. So over the knee boots will be narrower at the calf than shorter boots of the same measurement, where the top of the boot is on the calf. If your legs are long, the widest part of your calf will be higher, and at a wider spot. So the 9.5M fit my 18" wide, very long legs perfectly over light tights or trouser socks. (The top hits me at mid-knee.) The elastic in the back helps create a more perfect conformance to my calf shape. The M foot width fits like a shoe, rather than having extra sock room like some boots do. These boots are beautiful. I hope this helps!

I found the reviews here helpful, so I thought I would give some feedback. I am returning these boots. I bought them elsewhere as they were sold out in my size here. (They were also a steal on another site.) They do not fit around my calf. (Unfortunately, they were also slightly defective as the stitching was coming out along the zip, so check your boots closely for flaws.) I measured the boot and for a size 8.5W measuring from the bottom of the zipper, which is at the arch, up to 12" is midcalf and usually the largest part of the calf. At this point these boots are 17" wide. So, before you buy you can measure and see if they will fit you at the calf. At the top seam where the leather folds down the boot is 19" wide. I wear a normal size shoe so the W was a bit roomy for me, but it would have worked with a heavier sock. I am getting the RH Trudy Extra Wide instead, which has a very wide calf (over 19") and should fit me. In my online search for a boot to fit me I found a store that sells and customizes wide shaft boots. You can buy boots, give your measurements and they will custom alter a boot for you. They will also tell you which boot will work for you - their salesperson recommended the Trudy to me. What a nice service. They also seem to have a large supply of boots. I had no problem buying an 8.5, whereas here nearly everything I looked at was sold out in an 8.5. That includes the RH Trudy I was looking for so I won't be able to buy from Zappos. Good luck!

I was so happy when my boots came. They showed up a day early and really made my day. The fit is perfect and the leather is so soft. I have no problem paying a higher price if the fit is great. This boot is the first one to fit perfectly. This is a real hit. Please make them in other colors.

Just received these boots today. Free express shipping yea! I'm in love with these boots! I didn't want to take them off when I got them. It's so hard to find knee hi wide calf boots that fit right. These are actually a little big around the calf, I can wear them with my jeans tucked in, a first for me! They were pricey but made well. I have another pair of Ros Hommerson boots that I love. For anyone who has searched for knee hi boots that fit a wide calf, your search is over.
