These shoes are very cute, managing to look like a real boat shoe and yet still look feminine and attractive. The combination of leather textures is appealing, and the color is great. They are not incredibly supportive, but I knew that going in. The reason I ended up returning them was because they just didn't fit my narrow, flexible feet, even though I tried to lace them tighter. I would have kept them if they had fit.

Love these shoes! They did rub a bit in a few places straight out of the box, but I simply rubbed a little hand lotion on the spots that were rubbing and that "broke them in" for me in 10 seconds. Wore them all day with no trouble. Good color too, goes with everything. Not super supportive, but better than ballet flats which always slip right off my feet anyway.

Boohoo! I wanted these so much but they were just too narrow for me. I have wide feet Sebago, so please make these in that width!

I was afraid these would look like something my Grandma would wear, but they are actually very cute and comfy, and more flattering than the old "deck shoe" I was dreading.

These are the best shoes! Not only are they comfortable, they look great on. The leather is very soft so there was no break in required! I had a lady stop what she was doing to compliment my shoes!

I'm on the fence. I tried several Sperry styles, but they were all too narrow for me. I decided to try the Sebago Bala hoping it wouldn't be quite so narrow. The width ended up being great! And the length is normal, too. I usually wear a size 8. In the couple Sperry styles I tried I had to size down to a 7.5, but the Sebagos run true to size and my normal size 8 fit perfect. Here is my issue: color! I first ordered the yellow. It looked beautiful online, but in person it is a gross dirty greenish yellow that reminds me of (I hate to say it) dog puke. Because I liked the feel I decided to try a different color and ordered the Metallic Red (not offered by Zappos). It's a grey color with the tiniest hint of red sheen that is hardly noticeable. It's really very pretty except the trim is cream but the laces are stark white so it looks odd and too busy for me. I really want this shoe in a solid color (nothing two-tone or busy) but the yellow is the only solid color I can find. I'm debating on forcing myself to like the yellow because I really do think this is a cute, comfortable alternative to the Sperry brand! I should note, there's not a ton of cushioning in these, but they are really deep so they have plenty of room to add thick insoles.
