They're back! If you loved the Mizuno Wave Riders up through the 12s then you will love these. My husband and I both hated the wave rider 13s and 14s...but these are great. Fit right out of the box. Have 2 pair at home and 2 pair at the Florida house. My hubby has 3 pair at home and 2 at the Florida house also. Huge Mizuno fans! (If you are new to Mizuno, you have to order a half size larger than normal.)

I have worn several generations of the Mizuno Wave Rider. The Wave Rider 14 lost me, however. The toe box was too narrow and the volume in the instep far too low. Having a high instep, the laces and tongue on the Rider 14 choked my foot. I couldn't wear that shoe even for just walking or standing because it was that incompatible with my foot shape. Thankfully, Mizuno has revamped its Wave Rider 15. It fits much more like previous models, and it's noticeably roomier than the Rider 14. I chose the shoe in lavender because it seemed like the least conspicuous option for day-to-day wear. Please note that the yellow shade is more subdued in life than in photographs. I always purchase my running shoes about a half-size larger than my actual foot size. The size 10 seems true to size and, if anything, the B width seems slightly roomy. I imagine those with borderline narrow feet will definitely need to order the narrow width. Those with high insteps will rejoice that the Wave Rider 15 has more volume and fits much more like the Rider 12 and 13.

I was a loyal Mizuno Wave Rider fan up to 13. The big changes in the 14 model were terrible for my feet (heel collar was way too high), so I was patiently waiting for the 15 as they supposedly were redesigning the shoes, correcting things that fans hated in the 14. Unfortunately I did not like the redesign either. These are pretty stiff shoes and I did not find them nearly as comfortable as the 13. I have since switched to Brooks Ghonst 4 which I highly recommend for anyone who was previously a fan of the Wave Rider.

Holy love at first step! A devout Asics fan is now a convert. The colors are bold and the ride is amazing. So glad I took the risk - my feet, heels, and knees are happy, too!

Great shoe! Perfect amount of support. Sweet color. I find Mizuno's run a little small and like to get them 1/2 size larger than my normal size.

Excellent shoe. I have wide feet and wear orthotics. With or without orthotics they fit fantastic.

I am so disappointed with these shoes. I am a huge Mizuno fan and have had multiple pairs. The issues? First of all, the overall quality appeared to be cheap. I am sure people will argue this but take a closer look. In the left shoe there was an uncomfortable feeling under my toes; almost a bump. But the real deal breaker? They were by far the loudest shoes I have ever heard! I put in a ton of mileage and know how my footfall sounds. I like stiff/hard shoes but these were too rigid even for me.

I needed to find a sneaker with a good toe box area for my toes which would rub on the seams of my other sneakers. I went up 1/2 size and tried this shoe, and so far so good.

This is my second pair of Wave Riders (I previously had 13's) and I liked them so much that I decided to buy another pair. At first I was not sure but after trying them around the house I forgot that I had them on within five minutes. They have been perfectly comfortable since the very first mile. They are very light weight and provide great support. I do agree with others about sizing up. I went half a size up but I wish that I had gone up a full size for when I need thicker socks. Overall I am very happy with my purchase, and the price and speedy delivery offered by Zappos cannot be beat.
