These fit like a European style cut-slim. Which is why you should order one size up. Good quality, sturdy for my 12 year old boy.

We love these shorts! Ive bought them for both of my son's who are ages 14 and 11. These fit true to size around the waist, have straight legs that are the current style; not skinny or too wide. The material and sewing quality are very good. The inside detailing is cool, and serves a purpose. These are made to last until they are either outgrown or destroyed somehow! From a buyer's perspective, they are a no brainer. The fabric designs are always fashion forward. So, just buy, wear and enjoy!

We ordered a size 14. they fit a little shorter and tighter than expected. My son is average height (5'4") and normally wears a size 14 or 27" waist. So I don't know if the slightly shorter inseam length and snugger fit for these shorts are just part of this style. Like the chino fabric and plaid print.

Perfect fit for a tall, slim 12 year old boy. He's 5'2" and 88 pounds, and these sit nicely on his hips and graze the tops of his kneecaps, just the way he likes them. Fits longer and slimmer than
Quiksilver,
O'Neill and Rusty. Nice, durable, but not too thick, fabric. Washes up nicely.
