Very cute jeans. I was looking for leopard print jeans and could not find any in stores that were not cut for junior figures. I decided to take a chance with these because Zappos makes exchanges so easy (also they were on sale). It was not easy to get the right size. I wear an 8/29 and occasionally 6/28 in Loft jeans and a 6 and occasionally a 4 in Ann Taylor's. I thought these might run small so I ordered a 29 and a 30 and was sure I had all bases covered. Not so. I couldn't get the 29 zipped and the 30 fit with a slight muffin top. That's not a good look for a mature woman (or anyone, in my humble opinion). I called Zappos and they had the 31 out to me overnight UPS. How's that for service? With the 31, I could tuck in a shirt and rock the outfit with a black blazer, which was what I originally had in mind. Point of all this is, if you think you know what size you are, order one size up and maybe two, if you've got the bucks to lay out. The numerical size of this garment does not represent the size of one's natural waist. It's the measurement a good few inches below the natural waist. The term "high water" in the description does not refer to the rise. It refers to the cropped length. Since the largest size offered is 32, I honestly don't think anyone bigger than a size 10 could wear these jeans. Now that I know how
Joe's jeans will fit, I can order more so this exercise was well worth the time and money. Thanks, Zappos, you really helped!
