This jacket is great! I have a tri climate for adults and love it as well. For the price it can't be beat, I was tired of the cheapo jackets soaking thru during a wet snow. We've used it for snow angels, snow man making, downhill skiing, and walking to school. And when it warms up we'll just take out the liner and continue to use it. The glove clips at the end of the sleeves are really helpful too, not only will they not get lost but hanging there reminds my son to put em on as soon as he gets out in the cold. Unless they improve this model, I will most likely be buying another as soon as he out grows this one! Zappos had the best deal out there, I couldn't find it cheaper anywhere online or local.

Bought this for my 14 year old son-he is 5' 6" but a very slim kid, XL was a good fit. He had previously had a Spyder, but this was a great deal and he likes the removable liner (doubles as a thin down jacket). It survived a winter camp out weekend with zero degree temps.

If you are looking for a warm coat, look no further. Made extremely well and cleans nicely. It gets very cold here and I needed the best coat for my child. Well...I found it!

It's actually a little darker "boy" blue than it shows, I was very excited about that. Great size, really warm and he loves it. His sleeves don't bunch up on his shirts and sweatshirts like they did with our old fleece lined jacket. Worth every penny, because he's not cold or wet when he comes in from outside.

Although we loved the jacket it was super small. My son normally wears a 14, so we ordered 14-16 and I don't even think an 18-20 would have fit him. I had read reviews that it ran small and I didn't listen -- my mistake!

I already submitted an overall review but I forgot one part; I agree with a previous reviewer, this jacket does run on the smaller side. My son currently has an Atlas jacket from TNF in a size Small (7-8) which is huge on him (according to TNF size charts my son is a 1/2" too tall for a size 6 so we sized up figuring he'd grow into it soon enough). After having to replace the Atlas when it got ripped we opted for the Boundary noting that it seemed to be heavier and may hold up better; however, we did notice as soon as he tried it on that it seemed to run smaller. We purchased a size Small (7-8) and while it still is a little big on him, he's not drowning in it like he was with the Atlas, meaning he'll most likely outgrow it sooner than he will the Atlas.

I purchased this jacket as a replacement after my son's first TNF coat this year managed to become ripped and had to be sent in for repair. My 6 year old likes this jacket a lot. The inner jacket is similar to a "puffer" jacket in style but not overly bulky (which he loves). I like the styling of the inner jacket: I think he looks really cute in it. I don't care for the outer jacket's style as much. I dislike all the white on it and the weird outline on the chest pocket purely from a style standpoint but my husband likes to remind me, it's a coat so I shouldn't be so picky. The outer jacket is made out of a heavier material than the "Atlas" and seems like it would stand up to the outdoors a little better (The "Atlas" was the first jacket I bought him this winter and it managed to get a tear in it after just a few wears so extra durability is a plus). This is very similar from a durability standpoint as my TNF snowboarding jacket so I have high hopes. My husband is in the military and we split our time between our home station of Virginia Beach, VA (usually about 40 degrees in the winter) and Chicago, IL (burrrr) and I love the versatility of TNF triclimate jackets, the system really works well for us!
