These shoes are the red flats I've been looking for! Absolutely adorable! Runs a little large but the drawstrings is functional. Not made for trekking around Paris but super cute with slim jeans, skirts and dresses. Love them. Zappos, of course, got them here overnight, even when I had to exchange them twice to get the right size!

Buttery smooth is the right phrase. These things are lovely. Unlike the other reviewers, I have big size 10 feet. My toes sometimes show, but the leather is so supple I have no problems other than in the moment. These are ballet slippers; there is no support. I wear these when at conferences and such, where I am sitting a lot and want to be comfortable and presentable. These are not walking shoes...they are essentially expensive slippers to wear in public. I purchased the silver-y ones; they are more of a pearlescent white. They are a luxury in my world, which makes them all the better. I have my eye on the red pair.
