I am very pleased with these boots; they are my second pair of Frye's and I am definitely a devoted fan. They are the high quality you would expect with beautiful, soft leather and great details. They are a good fit for me, size-wise, but like others have said, they are snug, so wear them with skirts or skinny jeans/leggings. The heel is a good but manageable height, enough to feel dressy but not so high that you can't stand in them for 5 minutes before losing all feeling in your feet. Love these boots and would recommend them highly!

Gorgeous boots! Just what I was looking for. Bought these in the dark brown color. I have thoroughly enjoyed my other
Frye boots but was looking for a pair to wear under bootcut jeans. These fit the bill perfectly! Skinny jeans will tuck in to these if you have skinny calves as I do. Also purchased a gorgeous pair of riding boots in Bordeaux when I want to give my feet a break from heels.

These are the perfect boots to wear with jeans, leggings, and dresses! They fit true to size, I wear a 7.5 in
Frye and they fit perfectly. They are a great alternative if you are not sure about the ankle boots but want to get a more trendy look. They hit mid calf and look really cute with a dress and tights. They are excellent quality and even after several wears do not look scuffed or scratched. The heel is a perfect height and allow to you wear heels and still be comfortable. I highly recommend them!

I got these in black, size 7, and found them true to size (with thin socks). The other reviewer who wrote that these are great for those with skinny legs was absolutely correct. I have skinny stick legs and
almost all boots look like big wellingtons on me. The height of this boot is very flattering, a few inches below the knees. The leather is super soft. Goes great with skinny jeans. Heel is not too high. The little stud detailing is just right, but not so much that it\\\'ll go out of style. They may be a little tough to get off (gotta give \\\'em a good tug), but that\\\'s the only minor complaint. I couldn\\\'t find these boots anywhere in a real store. I love these. These boots are fantastic. The leather is really soft and the studding on the heel looks vintage, not cheesy. I'm rather short at only 5'3" and the boot fits me perfectly a little above mid calf. Like all my Fryes, they are really comfortable. One warning, though: you need to wear reallyY skinny jeans or just tights and skirts to get these on.

Classic design boot with a bit of unique style! I purchased the Cranberry in a size 8. The color is that of a rich, deep red. I was delighted to finally find a beautiful, quality boot that I can match with so many things because the red is not bright or lends itself towards orange. I would suggest sizing-up a half, if your foot is not narrow. Otherwise, pulling them off may be challenging. Very easy to walk in. Don't let the heel height discourage you. Plus, the boot has nice rubber bottom, for those of us who must bear the harsh winter weather.

These are exactly what I was looking for!!
These boots are so buttery soft, comfortable and the perfect shaft hight for my petite legs. I've tried so many knee high boots and I look like I'm wearing waders. These hit me at the perfect and most flattering spot on my leg...about 4in below my knee. They actually make my legs look longer instead of cutting me off like the taller boots do. Be aware that they dont fit tight like those that zip but they aren't overly large on my average/small 11.5" calves either...especially after I tuck my jeans into them. I really love these boots. The only minor issue I have with them is that they aren't the easiest boots to get off. Regardless, I'd still recommend them to others.
