These shoes are adorable and the leather is really a great quality. The toe box is a nice shape. I loved them and I wish they didn't run a size to big! The US sizing on this pair of shoes is not accurate and does not correspond to the equivalent European size. Here's what happened: I bought an 11, and when they arrived, they were huge...because they are a size 43. Zappos, please give us the option to see the European sizes along with the US sizes. I've ordered size 11 shoes from Zappos before that have been anywhere from a European size 41 to 43. That's 3 different sizes all claiming to be an 11. In my opinion, a true size 11 is a 42. 41 is more like a 10.5 and 43 is size 12. It's too bad because now the size I need is sold out...hope they come in soon so I can buy the right pair! The shoes get 5 stars, the size gets zero stars.

Great shoe, arrived very quickly. However, it was and inch and a half too big. I think the sizing may need to be modified. Very cute and sorry it did not fit.

These shoes seemed great, but they were too big. When I tried to order the next smallest size, they weren't available. So I can't speak to how comfortable they are after wear (though they certainly seemed great based on what I could tell regardless of size).

A great looking and comfortable shoe except that it comes in whole sizes only. I wear an 8.5; the 9 was too long and I think the 8 would be too small in the toe area.

These shoes are definitely big, but this is something I've noticed with Doc Martens in general--they just run really big. I should have known, but I thought maybe the sizing was normal (it's been a while since the 90s alternative Doc Martens boom--they could have updated their sizing, right?) and so I have to return these. They seem to run 1.5 to 2 shoes sizes larger than you would normally wear, so keep in mind while ordering. Note too that these shoes are a little more polished than Doc Martens boots, but are still very casual in case you couldn't tell from the pictures.

I ordered these hoping to get a true fit but they are much smaller than the other pair I ordered with these. These are not as wide as other pair I ordered. Wish that shoes were sized uniformly. Loved the workmanship and style. Love my other Dr. Marten shoes.

I should have read the reviews more carefully before purchasing! I got excited that these were available in size 5 and just bought them immediately. It wasn't until I got them that I saw what everyone else did, these run very large. I feel like it was a full size larger -- at first I thought they accidentally sent me a size 6! Despite that, these are really awesome shoes; I'm just sad that size 5 is the smallest it comes in! This is the first time I've worn a Doc Marten shoe, and now I can finally understand the hype! They were so comfortable, so I'm going to try out other styles and hope that even if they run large, they'll fit better with thick socks or something.

Too bad the shoes only comes in full sizes. I desperately needed a pair of shoes to go with a dress for a special event. I had to stuff tissue in the toe box area and wear insoles from my athletic shoes.

I never thought I would write the following words: THESE DR. MARTENS ARE GOING BACK. In the (ahem) 20+ years I've NEVER had a pair of Doc that didn't feel like buttah on my feet. (I did avoid them those awful Japanese years.) I just need some simple black flats. These seems that they would fit the bill but they do not. Here are my complaints: 1 - A size 6 is a UK 37. This is (the only) thing I wish zappos did differently - tell us the UK size. This is not Docs fault, but you should know before you buy. I wear a UK 36 and that is not a size 6 in these. They have been in other Docs I've purchased from Zappos, however. 2 - They are painful across the top and sides of the toes 3 - They show some toe-crack which I am as opposed to as I am butt-crack and drug-crack. Say no to crack! 4 - The toe bed is very narrow. 5 - They aren't like Payless shoes hard on the sole but I'm not feeling the airware love at all. I know what you are thinking, because I thought the same thing. You are thinking, I am special. Dr. Martens love me. These will work. Save yourself some pain and grief and do not buy them. You will be sad. PS I love love LOVE Zappos and their return policy. I'm sending these back and hoping for better luck in some Born black flats.

Bought the Size 10 and they looked and felt like an 11 or 11.5. Sizing is way off. Cute shoe though...too bad.

This is perfect hat for short bob hair style. It fits snugly so stays on unless the breeze is gusty. The color name celery is not the name I would choose, perhaps blanched celery. It is a light, slightly warm neutral. The only problem was that this was at the bottom of a heavy box. I am still working on steaming and reforming the crown, over a week now. But I am doing this because otherwise it is a perfect and well made hat, just as San Diego Hat Company always produces. This one is perfect for me.

I received this hat yesterday and thought I should share my thoughts. First off, I am petite and I know that is my problem, but the brim on this hat is way to big for a small frame. I am 4" 8" and the brim looks like an umbrella on me. Sorry that I have to return it. Shopping is hard for someone my size.

I bought this hat to take to the beach this summer. It's not as wide-brimmed as some hats I've seen. I always feel sort of ridiculous wearing really big hats so this is a nice medium. It seems very flexible (but retains its shape)and will hopefully be breathable in the hot sun. I haven't worn it on the beach yet but I look forward to doing so.

I do not look good in hats and I have a small head. Two hat challenges. (I just measured and my crown is 21.25") This hat looks pretty good on me and it's not huge like most hats are for me. In fact it is pretty snug fitting, so if you have a large head, this will not fit you. And for me, the brim is just the right width. I want to block the sun, but still be able to see without having a floppy brim obscuring my vision. This does that perfectly!

This is the only sun hat that fits my bigger head. There is no uncomfortable headband to make it feel tight. I had the last one for years and tracked it down on the internet to replace my first one because it had faded so badly after so much use.
