I myself own a pair of Birkenstock shoes, and can attest to how wickedly comfortable they are. I wore them for a full 18 hours at Disney World last year and my feet still felt great. Now this year we're doing Disney sans stroller, so my little guy is going to do a lot of walking. I got these shoes for him and he says they feel wonderful. I'm confident they will pass the Disney World test. They run large, though. My son wears a size 12 shoe and I got the 29 for him, and there is still growing room.

My son needed a sandal with arch support, and it is so hard to find a stylish sandal that offers just that. Aside from the fact that these sandals run at least a size larger than marked, they are his favorite shoes (which says a lot). They are adorable, and seemingly quite comfortable. I only wish they came in smaller sizes so I could have gotten another pair for my other son!

Both my boys have these and live in them all summer long, only down side is their feet tend to get wider after using these for a long time.
