I read the other reviews, and ordered up 1/2 size. Glad I did - the shoes are super cute, and fit just right at a half size bigger than my norm. I've worn them a full day with no complaints. They are quite comfy - the sole is squishy, though thin. I wouldn't hike a gravel road in them, but they are great for casual days at the office, or strolling along doing some weekend shopping.

This shoe is so cute! Alas, it was too small and will have to go back. If they had the next full size up, I would get it but they are sold out.

Update to review above: The size I needed came back in stock so I tried a full size up from my normal size. I've not had good experiences with the Fitzwell brand before because they usually put a gel pad in the heel of their shoes that causes my feet to slide to the sides of the pad. Since this one was sans pad I thought it would work. The shoe fit perfectly, width and length wise. However, the top of the shoe rubbed against my toenails. (I keep my toenails very short). It was painful after a few steps and would definitely ruin my pedicure after a while so they are going back. I've learned my lesson with this brand and they just don't work for me.

The shoe is cute and the style was what I wanted but it was a full size smaller than comparable shoes. The width seemed fine.

The Xwide width was too narrow. The sole of the shoe was narrow. Foot hung over onto the fabric. The back of the shoe came up too high on my heel. I put on the shoe and just said "Ouch." Too bad, cute shoe.

This is a cute shoe and I decided to keep it even though there were some things I didn't love. It feels a little flimsy--the canvas almost feels like it's lined with paperboard--and it is tight in the toe box. I almost never have to size up, but I did on this one--half size. This made it a bit wide for me, as I have a narrow foot. I did like that the bottom was lined with rubber, even though it has the natural raffia look along the edge of the sole. I had a different pair of flats that was woven on the bottom and was always soaking up water after it rained. :/ It holds up okay for gentle, daily use. I don't wear it if I feel like I'm going anywhere that it might be damaged or stained. There is no support in this shoe, which doesn't bother me, but might be an issue for some.

Cute and comfortable shoes. I ordered 1/2 size up as others suggested and it fit perfectly. I have worn this all day, immediately out of the box, walking outside and have found it very comfortable. It has stretched a little after a few wears, and now I think it fits my feet even better. There is not a lot of cushioning but it hasn't bothered me.

Love these bottoms! Thought they were going 2 be 2 tiny, but they are good and my belly does not hang over the front.
