I am a big fan of Donald Pliner's elasticized fabric. If you like shoes that hug your feet but comfortably stretches them you will like these. I have several other strappy Donald Pliner sandals in this fabric and they bounce back and look like new every time (even after 10 years). This style is great if you have a high instep and/or medium to semi-wide feet. They are too wide for narrow feet. They have a nice leather sole but they are certainly not cushy like Born, Naturalizer or Wolky's. They have a perfect height square wood heel that is stable to walk in. I agree that the virgin color looks a bit like nice Ace bandages. They are fashionable, though. They look good with the safari style & boho looks that are in now. Overall, am glad that I bought these.

I love Pliners, they are great quality and fit. These shoes are super comfy and stylish. They do resemble bandages, which is a little funny. But I like how comfy they are and they still rock.

Much wider than past DJ Pliner shoes I have bought. Had to return them. Style was also clunkier than I expected.

I bought a similar DJP style a few years ago and was thrilled to find this one. Sorry to say that this shoe is made in China, not Italy or Spain. The shoe is very wide compared to other Pliner styles. Fortunately that is OK for me. If your foot is narrow, this may not be the sandal for you. The color is neutral so you can wear it with everything in your closet!

These boots look cheap. The leather looks low quality and didn't feel like I got my money's worth. Returning these.

I agree -- and the boots are not the true size - they run very small and narrow and not Donald Pliner quality.

Sadly, I agree with the other reviewer. I was sure a Pliner would not look cheap - but it looks AND feels cheap. The interior of the boot is even less lux - made of some non-breathable substance. very disappointed.

Really liked the styling. Initially ordered a 9.5 which ran a little too small. Then tried 10 which fitted my foot well (heel very narrow) but hurt my ankle. It was actually painful walking in these boots. Boots are going back.
