The blue is a deep blue with a sheen to it. It glides on and stays! I line my inner lower and upper lids and it doesn't smudge onto my contact lenses like many other liners.

I am a big fan of Stila eye liners, in particular the waterproof smudge stick. When I bought the Stila Smudge Crayong I was hoping for the same result. Although I love the color of this one, it doesn't apply as well as the thinner eyeliner; even when its sharpened it applies a bit wide and doesn't look as precise as the smudge stick waterproof eyeliner. I will continue buying Stila products but not this particular eyeliner.
