I ordered the NB WT20 V1 and V2. This V2 is not flexible at all compared to V1. Very stiff material. Stick with V1. Love the Berry color though.

Like other reviewers have said, these run big. But that's not the problem. The problem is that they are so stiff and uncomfortable. I too had the first version of these, and liked them so much I was really looking forward to getting v.2. They really missed the mark. Worst pair of NB shoes I've ever tried, and I've been wearing them for 15+ years.

I have never tried the v1 of these shoes, so I can't speak to how it compares to the previous version. But, all told, I really like this shoe. I wanted something that I could wear to 1) Zumba and 2) to do strength training/circuit training when I wasn't walking/running. This fits the bill. You're practically barefoot in this shoe. It will definitely take me a while to build up to using these all the time, but I'm interested in the benefits of barefoot training so I'm happy to invest the time. The upper part of the shoe offers good support so that you're foot isn't wiggling around which is nice. The shoe is crazy light weight - as you'd expect from a shoe with hardly anything to it! As others have noted, the sole isn't the most flexible (which may take away from the barefoot factor) but that was something I appreciated. I do a lot of squats releve (on my toes) and had suffered an injury to the bone below my big toe in the pad of my foot. The solution for this is to have a less flexible sole, so for my purposes this was really great and will hopefully help prevent reinjury. Somethings to note: 1) the box for the shoes states that these are minimalist trail running shoes, but from my limited time in them I feel they are much more multipurpose than that. 2) the sole of the shoe is made by vibram, the makers of the toe shoes. I can't remember if that was mentioned in the product description so I thought I'd mention it here. Finally, the most important factor to me was how they look. I bought the lavender/bright orange color and they are very cool looking! I'm very pleased with my purchase. The price is a little steep so I may try to keep my eye out for a lower price, but I'm still very pleased.

I absolutely love these. I don't know what others don't like about them! They're not stiff at all. Perhaps I got a weird pair? I don't know, but I do know that I love these. I got the pink pair. They do take some getting used to if you're not used to running in a minimal shoe. I wasn't, and it took me about a month to like them. I knew I would if I gave them a chance and I am glad I did! It really helps you get a mid-foot strike if you are like me and really hit hard with your heels. It's not as supportive, but once you 're used to that, it's really not a big deal. I travel a lot and these are so small and light - they're perfect for travelers. I have wide feet also and these come in a wide! Thank God! They're great. They do run a tad large to me, so I went 1/2 size down.

I do not run; I do walk and work out at a gym. I like them for a change. You do have to wear them gradually at first. They are very light, great for summer.

I have wide, flat feet and typically wear a size 11, regular-width running shoe (10 in everyday shoes). Based on previous reviews, I ordered a size 10.5 wide which I planned to use for weight-lifting and general gym cross-training. Although these shoes are really great looking, I returned them for a few reasons: -These shoes are huge (and I have big feet!). Despite sizing down 1/2 a size, these shoes were still too long, especially in the back. -There is a strange seam/bump in the non-removable insole that was right beneath both of my big toes. It felt so weird that I thought maybe a smaller size insole had been put in my shoes. -Lastly, the top of these shoes are very stiff and only really bend at the mid-toe. It's a bit hard to explain, but my toes definitely took a beating during my test walk in the house.

I'm a new mom and that means that with the gift of life, I've also received the gift of bigger feet. It's awesome. Now that it's fall, I can't avoid the inevitable with flip-flips anymore and I've been systematically replacing my shoe collection. I had a recent trip to Seoul that I bought these shoes for as my walking shoes. They're a little wider in the toe box which was perfect for my now bigger feet and the color (berry) was so cute. But I guess there are things that are too good to be true. 3 weeks of having them and the shoes already have holes on both above the pinkie. It's not like I trekked the Himalaya in those 3 weeks. I was sightseeing with a 3 month old! Not sure if these are eligible to be returned but have to retire these. It's getting too cold out to wear shoes with holes in them!

I wear the NB 20 v1; I ordered the NB 20 v2 - too big. I had to order 1 full size smaller. Material is stiff; does not have the barefoot feel at all. I will stick with the NB 20 v1 or if I have to - NB 10.

The shoe was about a size larger than normal. The sole was hard to bend. I love the color, not the shoe.

These are a solid minimalist type shoe. I just got them a few days ago, so can't yet comment on some of the other reviews of how well they hold up, but so far I like them a lot. They are not a super flexible sole as are some minimal style shoes, but have a nice flat footbed to them, and very nice lightweight upper. I ordered another color I enjoyed them so much. I am a Vibram 5 fingers wearer by summer, but in Nebraska winter I needed something comfortable that I would keep my feet a bit warmer and this fits the bill perfectly. I think they are pretty true to size also. I usually wear a 12 in athletic shoes and these fit great. Love the bright berry color too!
