I bought this in the black (Nero) and wore them for the first time today to work. Usually I love Born
shoes since they tend to be the most comfortable
shoes I own, but the slope on these heels was so steep that my arches ached by the
end of the day and the bottoms of my feet were sore. Before wearing them out, I wore them around the house and they seemed fine, but the true test was walking around the college campus where I teach and actually standing in them to teach for two hours. I couldn't wait to get home to take them off. Also, the ankle strap doesn't provide much stability, which I had been worried about before ordering them, and so you have to hold your toes into the foot as you do when wearing a slip-on shoe. For sizing, I usually wear a 7 1/2, so I ordered the size 8 and they fit fine in the length. They are gorgeous
shoes and I love that Born is making such stylish options, but I was disappointed that I spent so much on a "comfort" shoe that was far from comfortable. I'll update this as I wear them more and if they become more comfortable.
