Giraffe - I got this Naot boot in black and since it’s the end of the season and I live in Louisiana, I won't be wearing it until next winter. However, I've been looking for months and have tried every Born boot out there, but they don't offer my feet and ankles the support that Naots do for the money. I'm keeping this one even though it’s pricey for end of season because there are only a few left in my size. I am hoping that I can waterproof the suede for wet weather and other than that I am thinking that the giraffe is going to be a good buy for several years to come. I wear a 7 1/2 and the 38 is fine with or without a thick sock. They are roomy and lined with a fabric which worried me at first that they leather was cheap and thin, but it is substantial and the lining is like some kind of insulation, so that is good for cold. The toe is roomy, but no too much and I like the grippy looking sole. The fur is a little cheap, but gives it a funky look without being totally Eskimo. You could still get your jeans over it. I think they will be cute with my long skirts. Overall, I recommend this boot.
