I bought these boots in brown in the fall and enjoyed them so much I returned for the black ones when they went on sale. Stylish boot (looks much like some I saw a lot on a recent trip to France) and terrific over skinny pants. The instep was a bit snug right out of the box, making me have to wear thin socks just to get them on, but after a few wearings the leather softened enough for regular and even heavy socks. (If you have trouble pulling them on, there is a loop on the top back for a boot hook, but I managed with a bit of tugging. And even though they were hard to get on at first, after I did they were plenty comfortable for all day wear.) Some of the reviews said the leather looked synthetic at the beginning. I just thought it looked a bit dry, but a good coat of shoe polish (husbands are usually pretty good at that) made them look terrific. Far and away my favorite boots of the season.

This is my second pair of
Nine West black, mid-calve boots. They are reasonably priced, comfortable, stylish and work very well as my everyday boots to wear with skinny jeans and thick wool stocking. The leather at first glance looked synthetic, but the more you wear it, the more it will feel and look genuine. Best feature is that the boots do not have zippers, which I love. You do need to break-in the boots though—the first day I wore it I got a very mild blister on my right heel.

First saw these at another retailer sold out quick during fall boot sale found them here and had to have them. Great boot, looks great on, fashionable and very comfortable. I usually by a half size up to accommodate socks, buy your true size they run large.

These boots are really cute. They look great with skinny jeans or leggings. Comfortable
sole, motorcycle look but the toe is not too round. Recommend!

I love these boots. They are comfortable and go with any outfit. I like the mid-calf length, which can be hard to find, as they are easy to get on under pants and warmer than the low boots. I worried that the straps might be bulky under pants, but they are not. I only wish the
sole and heel were a tiny bit thicker, but well see how they hold up in the long term.

Good quality boots, sized big as other reviews stated. I am sending them back as I was hoping to wear them with skinny jeans that aren't skin tight. There just isn't enough room in the shaft to do this.

Nice, stylish leather boot. Good quality leather. Very comfortable, but I need a little more arch support. Boots look great with jeans or a maxi skirt. There isn't a lining so I wouldn't recommend them for super cold weather or if you'll be outdoors for an extended period.

I was looking for some simple short boots and these fit the bill and looks good! The leather and soles are flexible but I might add some arch support since I plan on walking in them and there is room in the boot.

Leather is beautiful and
shoes are definitely well made. Love that there is no zipper on the side--hard to find with boots but definitely adds to the aesthetic for me. That said, I ordered these in a 9 (normally wear 8.5 or 9) and the toe box felt a bit too tight while the shaft was a bit loose. Shaft would probably be a perfect fit for those who like to wear jeans tucked into boots, just not really my style.

I loved the look of these boots online, but they did not look like high quality boots when I received them. They were also a bit big for me. I wear anything from an 8 1/2 to a 9 1/2 depending on the shoe. I had ordered size 9. I thought about exchanging them, but I decided that I didn't like them as much as I wanted to.
