Good quality soft leather. I like the classic and modern styling and a feminine penny loafer. Didn't have to break them in at all. Really comfortable shoe however it has minimum sole support. Fine for casual work or walking around town. Still, it is a nice shoe and I'm considering on buying another pair as a back up.

So comfortable that I ordered a pair in another color also. A rare blend of feeling as good as a slipper, yet with enough structure to walk for miles in them (which I have done). Another benefit: light weight for packing in a suitcase that has weight restrictions!

Beware - the footbed in these is not leather lined like most Born shoes, but rather a combination of leather and this synthetic fleecy felt material. I'm a little disappointed by that (no kudos there, Born) - makes the shoe not very pleasant for warmer weather and gives it a cheaper, less durable feel. For some reason Born decided to cut corners on these, although the price certainly does not reflect that. Also to note: the metallic leather seemed softer than the natural, which incidentally is more of a tan than a natural. Other than that, I liked the metallic ones - very nice and simple, casual loafer that would go with shorts and skirts, and the metallic shine is muted, just enough to make it a bit festive. I am usually a 6.5 in closed shoes, but these felt a little like they were about to fall off - perhaps just a bit on the long side, though it might just be me. I have the Liddy in a 6.5 and those are not big at all (also those are leather lined). I think I might exchange the metallic for a 6 and see how that works. The 'natural' goes back - too stiff and masculine for my taste.

Love these. Seriously. They were comfortable right out of the box, are beautiful shoes, and basically aren't coming off of my feet any time soon.

I love these shoes! They are stylish, comfortable, and so fun to wear! They match everything! I would love if it came in a wide width!

Slippery sole. I'm normally a size 8 1/2 in Clarks and these fit perfectly. The sole is comfy and squishy. The top hugs the foot. But the sole is super slippery on my kitchen floor. I need more traction so I don't fall, so they're going back.

Love this shoe. Just ordered another color. But then I love Clarks and have a closet full of them. This shoe is like walking on a soft cloud. Very stylish and can go casual or office.

Love these shoes. Bought two colors - needed good arch support - have issues with my feet and they were comfortable right out of the box. Wore them all day first day and no problems.

I really wanted to love these shoes; they are very cute. Sadly, they were sent back. I got the 8 1/2 which seemed to be the right size for me, however, the thong component was uncomfortable between my toes, the heels were super slippery and narrow, and my right foot felt awkward just walking around the house in them. Such a bummer.

These are my favorite sandals - I wear them with everything. I bought them last year when they were called "Latin Bolero" and a lot cheaper. I was going to buy a few more pairs but when I compared the sale price to what I paid last year, non-sale, I decided against it. Too bad, they really are cute, comfortable and go with everything.
