Love this vest. Super cute and super warm. I normally wear a small but
Patagonia tends to run small (4-6), and in this case a medium was perfect on me. Unfortunately, after wearing it just twice, the zipper started coming apart from the bottom up when it was zipped. I'm returning this; not sure whether I'll try a replacement -- at this price point, I was not expecting to encounter this kind of issue in quality.

I purchased two sizes because even with all of the reviews I was still unsure. I am 118 pounds, 5'6", 34B, 29" waist, 36" hips. Pretty straight up and down, slender/athletic. I am usually a size 6/small. I ordered both the small and medium. The small fit if I wore just a lightweight T-shirt, otherwise with any more layers it was too snug. I went for the medium because it was still fitted, looked good and gave me a little more room to wear a T-shirt and medium weight
SmartWool layer. I really like the fit and subdued colors of the dark plaid. I agree with another reviewer that if I wanted to wear a lightweight jacket or sweater under this vest, then a large would probably be the ticket. I plan to wear this in cool, but not cold weather. Thanks to Zappos for sending this in two days!

Love this jacket. It runs a bit small (athletic cut?) but is really great. Love that the hood zips off and is lined wish soft material.

Cute, flattering and warm. The cut is definitely slim but I found I could order my true size and still fit a thin base-layer and light mid-layer underneath. I got the navy and it looks great with jeans. Thanks

Beautiful vest....already have it in another color. Wear it all the time. Slightly fitted so doesn't feel bulky when I wear it.

I had wanted a down vest for many years but did not see anything out there that appealed to me. All the vests were either the same old run of the mill solid color with a boxy fit. I was thrilled to run across this adorable vest. Since I am short I appreciate the shorter length and the feminine fit. It looks super flattering on and is surprisingly warm for such a light weight piece of
clothing. The fleece lined hood is detachable. I got the turquoise/green and it pairs up great with any pants that I wear with it. Normally I wear a size 8 top so I got the size medium. There is enough room underneath for a cotton turtleneck tee or a light to medium weight polar fleece top. Since I purchased this several weeks ago, I have worn it just about everyday. It is perfect for wearing around the house or running errands on these cooler Fall days. It is very cute. If it was not so pricey I would buy another in the magenta... Oh well, maybe next year.

I saw this last year and wished I'd picked it up, so I was happy to see it was available again. I got it in the Headlands Plaid Raven, love it. The plaid is fun, I wear an XL and this one is a slim fit but it fits pretty good. Mostly I am wearing it around the house! It's my first down vest, now I want a few more.

This is my new favorite vest. I love the flattering cut, the comfortable feel of it, and of course, the cute plaid. It is a bit snug in the chest area, but otherwise perfect. I love the fuzzy hood, and the fact that it comes off. The only thing I'm not wild about is the design of the pockets. They are side pockets, so they zip up for a streamlined look, which is nice. When you want to unzip them and actually use them, however, they are kind of awkward. The zipper is tiny and since they're on the side, I need two hands to get them open. Aside from the somewhat limited functionality of the pockets, however, this vest is great!

Love this vest! I purchased it in the Headlands Plaid Raven pattern. I don't wear plaid, so I hestiated ordering it, but I'm glad I did. It's a nice fashionable addition to my outerwear collection. It's very warm, yet not bulky and the cut and stiching are very flattering.
