These shoes were nicely streamlined to my daughter's feet, and allowed her to run, climb and play without tripping. She scuffed the entire toe areas within a week, and one of the insole layers kept coming out of one shoe after about two weeks, but I think these shoes are well made and stood up well to toddler wear and play. I wish this model came in brighter colors. I am not a big fan of the purple/pink generic girl combo, but it was the most versatile choice. I am happy with my purchase, and will buy Umi brand again. I always buy my shoes from Zappos; they can't be beat. :)
