I haven't had the opportunity to wear them yet, but I did wear around house for several hours. They are extremely soft and comfortable. It's 100+ in AZ and I purchased these to wear while riding my Burgman. Once the weather breaks, I'm sure I'll be wearing these when taking long rides and walking around off the bike.

More flexible than a hard-core hiking boot, and not as clunky-looking as most. I wear these all the time, though I did swap out the leather laces. Note: if you use purple laces with the eggplant color, the boots really look purple. Brown or black is more understated. Some of the reviews said they felt a half-size larger, and some said they ran true to size. I tried my regular size, and they were uncomfortably large. Half a size down is still roomy enough for fairly heavy socks.

Bought this for my college-age daughter. She loves them. They are beautiful, comfortable, and well made. The red makes them interesting but they are classic, not trendy.

I got these in tan about a month ago. It took wearing them several times to really break them in but they're super comfy now. These hiking boots gorgeous - very well made with high quality leather and durable. I love the style, very vintage looking and classic. It comes with leather laces which might look nice but I found that they made these boots feel tight and less flexible. Once I swapped them out of a pair of regular cloth boot laces I was so much more comfortable. I also think they look a little less masculine with thinner laces. As with my other 3 pair of Frye's I ordered 1/2 size smaller and got these in an 8 rather than my usual 8.5 - 9 in other brands.

I love these boots, I usually wear an 8 in
shoes/boots (room for socks) and a 7 1/2 in sandals. But the 8 was too big, the 7 1/2 fit perfect with just enough room for socks. My feet were not unfortunately blister free, like some reviews said, but like with any hiking boot, the comfort comes with time. If you're into a vintage style hiking boot that is also feminine, these are the boots for you!

Absolutely love them. Comfortable from first pull-on. Not crazy about Frye's faux weathered toe finish, but the boot itself is sensational. I have two pair and have been wearing them non-stop all fall/winter. Old school hiking boot look without the clunk and stiffness. They are treasured members of my shoe closet.

I'm a big fan of
Frye boots and they have outdone themselves with this one. It's the perfect boot...absolutely true to size, super comfortable, no breaking in for me and very cool looking, too!

Instead of the cognac color I ordered, I got the red/wine color. A mistake, but a good one because I loved the color - the red color is not super bright, it is just perfect. Getting these
shoes in a fun color adds more pizazz. I never wear them hiking, but when I'm walking around town or school a lot (with skinny jeans). They are super cute. It didn't take long to break in the 9.5's. I'm still figuring out the sizing in Frye's. I have a pair of Veronica boots in 9.5. The 10 was definitely big in the Archie Hiker, and the 9.5's rubbed my little toe for a few days, but the leather stretched and now they are super comfy. I have narrow heels and a wide toe area. I have weak ankles, so the extra support is great. I also wear orthotics (I have high arches). My orthotics do not fit into the shoe. I am planning on putting in some extra arch support somehow. I don't think the foot bed is easily removed (and it's pretty nice). All said, I really like these
shoes. I need a lot of comfort, and these
shoes are cute and comfortable.

Got these for a Spring trip in Europe so haven't used them yet but they fit well, love the leather inside and out, love the color. Wanted something slightly simpler style than the usual complicated hiking boot look, these are elegant!
