I have purchased many boat
shoes and wear them all summer and also for spring trips south. I have two different styles of
Mephisto Boat
Shoes and also three styles of Sperry Boat
Shoes including the two-eye deer skin lined model. I also must admit that I am a
Keen Shoes Fan. As such, I was excited to see that
Keen had finally made a Boat Shoe. I have to say these
shoes do not disappoint. They are very well made and comfortable. They have a typical non-slip
sole and generally look just like all my other Boat
Shoes. The noticeable exception is of course is the toe-protection, which I can't wait to test out as the toe always gets scratched and scuffed on Boat
Shoes. Sand, Rock, Boat gunnel, etc. and they all scuff the
shoes. I noticed that there was one comment about the
sole not feeling as sturdy as the "Sandals" and I would say that is because these feel much more like all Boat
Shoes. I love the looks and the feel, and am very pleased with this shoe.
