Gorgeous sandals, beautifully made. They suit my "dancer" sensibilities. Elegantly cut-the base of the shoe is small and makes your feet look tiny. Leather is lovely. I wear an 8.5; had I known these were sized European-style, I might have chosen a 9 (size 39), as I feel a 38.5 is actually closer to a small 8 than an American 8.5. That said, they fit like a glove. I have narrow, thin feet, though, so keep that in mind. Slick on the bottom, will probably have to put something on them. No flexibility in the sole, if that's something you're looking for, but I expect that with a wedge. Worth the price.
