Too clunky and strange angle at the upper part. They get wider at the top and are not very flattering. Very nice quality but not for me.

Really soft leather on my calves. No break in time needed. Sturdy, but not clunky look. Snugness adjustable with strap at ankle. I was actually able to wear 1/2 size larger.

OMG. I finally found a boot I am going to keep! Thank you Zappos for your patience with me. This Lucky Brand Aid boot must be new because there were no reviews yet. I took a chance and ordered them. They are the fifth pair I have tried after striking out with the Frye Veronica shortie (tight toe box), the Dr. Marten Meg (impossible to get on, tho cute), Gentle Souls Buckle Up (gorgeous but just a little too high and maybe too fancy for what I wanted. Plus I didn't love the zipper. I prefer pull-on styles). There were a couple more but you get the idea. These Lucky's are lightweight, quiet when I walk, and look almost identical to my Frye Engineer 12's which I absolutely love (but find them a little heavy for schleppin' around in all day). They are also almost half the price! If you are between sizes, I'd order up. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5. I ordered a 7.5 and they are good. The toe is slightly snug but it feels like they will give. Not a lot of arch support, but not terrible. I tried my SuperFeet in and they are too tight with those. I might try the lower profile super feet, as that might work. Highly recommend

Very comfortable and great quality for the price. I wish the toe was rounded but it is a very affordable version still of the Frye Veronica shortie.
