Do not buy! This was the worst product KitchenAid has put their name on! Never toasts the same no matter what setting. It has this annoying loud Beep Beep Beep when your item is done being toasted. You can't turn it off or lower the volume. So if you live with someone else and wake up before them, you'll now be giving them their wake up call. Customer service at KA / Whirlpool is beyond poor and refuse to offer a different model or offer a remedy. I own a $12K fridge and a $7K range and with the poor service I've received over this toaster I'll never buy another KA/ Whirlpool product again!

I am totally satisfied with this toaster. It has plenty of heat range to do frozen items, bagels, and extra thick sliced bread. It also looks great on your counter.

You will love this toaster! First of all, I eat frozen waffles every morning and this is the first toaster that I've owned that evenly thaws and toasts my waffles to perfection. I put the control setting on #3, hit "defrost" and when done, a slight beep goes off. When you first get the toaster you will have to try it a couple of times to get your settings just right and then you're good to go every time you use it! The handle used to raise your cooked toast, waffles, or bagels, lifts the hot items high enough to easily take them from the toaster. Also, the cord is easy to wrap around the bottom of the toaster, so there is no extra cording on the counter if space is a problem. Last, but no
