It's nice enough to look at but no way is it a wide. I wear a regular to wide width and this was too narrow. Also the calf is unbelievably narrow. Couldn't even imagine zipping it up. The other brand I ordered zipped just fine (also a regular calf boot).

These boots, while nicely simple in design, had a terrible smell,
almost as if they were made from a synthetic material.

I really like these boots. I have slightly wide feet so I got the wide size and they fit just right. the calf is snug and fitted. Simple clean but dressy line. The only thing I would worn about is that there was a strong smell to the leather at first that needed to dissipate before I could where them out.

Cute boot in the box and on the closet shelf, but when I added a calf-length black dress coat, I looked like the Wicked Witch of the West. Or an old school marm. The heel is not high enough to be this narrow. With a chunkier heel, this would be a great boot.
